New RN Programs in Texas

It looks like Texas is acting big in getting the nursing shortage under control. They have created a new nursing school with the support of the state and the texas university system. Texas State University will house this new nursing program in Round Rock.

We are now seeing more and more school pop up left and right around the country thanks to state initiatives and funding from private organizations. This is a positive sign that the nursing shortage is being tackled. It will be excited to see the affects of all this in 2 to 4 years when these new nurses graduate.
