Is Oklahoma is Trouble?

State officials have been talking about the nursing shortage for awhile now. Oklahoma may be in one of the worst conditions and is expected to be short of over 3000 nurses by 2012. Colleges aren't helping since they don't simply have space for these nurses. The number of senior citizens are also increasing at an enormous rate.

By 2020, there is expected to be 12 million seniors looking for nursing help. Many of those people were nurses themselves which makes the problem even more severe. It's not all doom and gloom since national initiatives are taking effect which is giving Oklahoma a boost in their funding. This will surely help get Oklahoma in the right track.
