An Inside Look into the Nursing Problem

2008-05-15 17:49

A dean of a very popular nursing college says that the nursing field needs to fix many problems for it to be more attractive to more people. It turns out that the job is stressful thanks to a shortage of nurses to help out. Hospitals needs to increase salaries if they want to provide adequate care and convince more students to enter nursing.

However, nurses coming out of school programs today have a lot of choices. The University of Oklahoma holds career fairs for its nursing students and many organizations show up to try to snack up the nursing students.  This is good news, and we'll also start to see higher salaries thanks to the increased competition for the few nurses out there.
